6pm Stumps What a day of Test cricket, what a lovely day! Just when it looked like New Zealand would get into a commanding position after bowling Sri Lanka out for 292, and putting on an opening stand of 81, the visitors clawed their way back only because of Dushmantha Chameera! He sent down a barrage of short balls to pick one wicket after another on his way to his maiden Test five-for and SL are set to take a lead. They would have probably taken a lead by now, but nobody knows why Mathews didn't bowl Chameera for the first 20 overs and for another 21 overs after tea. One reason could be maybe he doesn't bowl long spells. NZ were also helped by a lot of resistance from Santner, Watling and Bracewell but they have only wicket left and are still behind by 60 runs. Catch us again tomorrow for another early start - at 10am - to see which side this Test sways and if SL can capitailse on this to level the series. Until then, it's goodbye from Vishal and Sanjay!
Uwaisul Karnain: "Lions never eat grass, but it doesn't mean they don't fancy grassy pitches!!"
